Construction of a new 96 bed Travelodge Hotel with ground floor retail space and an underground carpark at 214-218 Cricklewood Broadway.

The building was five storeys in height over a basement carpark (48 spaces) and was built to a BREEAM Very Good rating.  

This brownfield site was located on the A5 on an extremely busy thoroughfare in North London. The building footprint covered the entire site area and lead to significant logistical challenges in the delivery of the project to a very tight timescale.

The basement footprint was approx. 43m x 30m and the basement slab was constructed over 3 main pours. Internal bored & cast insitu concrete piles (115 Nr) were used to support the internal column and slab loads.
